Happy New Year and welcome to Vector Correctors 2016. As this year begins focus not on resolutions but have a vision of what can be. Then, with good advice and planning, press ahead. God will direct your path.


Vector Corrector 2016-2

Ask where the good way is, and walk in it and you will find rest and peace in your spirit. Our problem is we are too quickly influenced by the world around us and we often take the easy or popular way to live.

In a recent reading on PATIENCE I was touched by four points:

1.       Patience provides us a better end than the present.

2.       Patience makes us a good example for others.

3.       Patience helps to perfect our character.

4.       Patience gives us hope.

What are the values or code of conduct for your organization? The US Air Force lists SERVICE-INTEGRITY-EXCELLENCE. These are expectations of how all members/teammates will function. If your people don’t know what is expected, how can they meet the standard.

As a leader, don’t claim ,“We’ll work together,” unless you describe how we’ll work together as a team. There is no “I” in team. However, there is strength in working as a cohesive, dynamic team.

A leader must be careful who influences his decisions even if it comes from family, friends or his/her executive circle…. input is essential. Be a good listener and get credible facts that will form the foundation of the future.

We need to understand that leadership is the rock bed of the legacy we leave behind. Whoever you meet everyday, starting in the home, will be part of your legacy. Awesome thought that should challenge all of us to be sure we leave a positive legacy.
